Feeling hot

Today Noel and I have been feeling hot, so hot that we have been given medicine to keep us cool. We haven't felt too good and I hope that we sleep well tonight. Last night we both got daddy up. Seems Noel has just got worse, poor Noel. Yesterday we had a really good day. A friend of Noel's came to play, we got to swim in the lake and we had dinner out at Jan and Luke's. They have lots of toys we can play with. We fell asleep really quickly last night. Today it rained a little bit and then the sun came out again. Tomorrow will be another nice day and I hope Noel and I can enjoy it to its fullest!

Scaring the monsters

I am sure we have monsters at home. I keep trying to find them and scare them, but so far I have only had time to practice my dangerous face. It has been a busy week. We have been away to SkellefteƄ. We had lots of fun with Felix and Emma and Mormor and Morfar and Moster Sara and Chrille. We did some treasure hunting and played lots in a big play ground and ate cake as Emma was baptised. We have been to the lake swimming as it was very hot. I got to eat some icecream and we had a lunch picnic. Today a dagis friend is coming to play and we are going out to dinner. Life is so busy at the moment I am looking to starting reception class soon!

Eggs

Eggs are wonderful things. They are white and slippery. Sometimes they are difficult to eat. I prefer them whole and not sliced. Daddy likes them sliced on this sandwiches. Mummy likes them both whole and sliced. Noel doesn't like egg. We found some nice machines for geocaching last night. It is sunny today and I wonder what we will do. I wonder if we will pick some more strawberries. There are lots of them in the garden at the moment. Noel can now swing on his own. Mummy, daddy and Noel are all very happy. I wonder if he can still do it today...

Doing photo things with Nellie

Morfar gave me a camera the other week and a few weeks ago Nellie and I spent an afternoon in my bedroom photographing each other. It was lots of fun and we tried lots of advanced effects! This is one of Nellies with a slightly long exposure to give the impression of movement. I still had my long hair. Now it is short and so much more easily washed and looked after in the morning. It is still not as short as daddy's!! Daddy's and Greta's are disappearing and they are both almost normal again. Today daddy took me to the recycling centre and we left lots of hedge cutting and weeds! We will go again very soon...there is lots of weed in the garden.

A summery picture

I was going to post a photo of daddy's spots, but he wouldn't let me. Instead I have posted a midsummer photo of me. Noel and mummy went away to look for treasure today in the woods; they found two numbers, number 7 and number 5. They are going to find some more tomorrow. I wonder what happens when they have found all the numbers. I hope I am well by then and can go out with mummy and Noel. It is fun at home with daddy but I think it sounds more fun to be able to go out and play in the woods with Noel. I can't wait until my spots vanish.

Having fun at home

I am having lots of fun at home with daddy. Noel and mummy keep going out. We do lots of fun things like watching tellytubbies and painting and making a mess. We are very good at making a mess. Today is a banana day. I ate two for lunch and wonder if I should not have another for tea. I hope we have some more in the kitchen. This morning we watched Pingu in the cellar. It isn't too warm today so I am not sure that I will be bouncing very much. May be the sun will come out later. I wonder is I should eat my pancake or let daddy eat it. He has many more spots than me and feel a bit sorry for me. I wonder where mummy and Noel have gone today?

I have fun while Greta and daddy are in quarantine

Daddy and Greta both have chicken pox. Something went wrong. The idea was that Greta was get it and no one else. I am vaccinated, mummy knows she has had chicken pox and daddy had his blood tested for antibodies some years ago and he had them. Alas something went wrong and now daddy is covered in lots of spots. Greta has far fewer spots and is far more active than daddy. The best is that I get to do things with mummy on my own. We have been to the lake to swim, to a train exhibition at the museum, and have plans for some more outings. Today I am playing with a friend, and mummy is shopping while daddy and Greta look after each other at home!

Summer picture

Summer has arrived. This means Noel and I have more time to write on our blog. Today we had visitors and played lots and bounced lots and ate lots and tickled lots and laughed lots. The weather was odd. One minute hot, one minute rain, one minute cloud. We had a wonderful day. Yesterday we went swimming in the lake with mormor and morfar and left daddy at home to trim the hedge and cut the lawn! He was very good and didn't faint in the sun; he wore his sunhat all the time. I wonder what will happen tomorrow....
