Feeling hot

Today Noel and I have been feeling hot, so hot that we have been given medicine to keep us cool. We haven't felt too good and I hope that we sleep well tonight. Last night we both got daddy up. Seems Noel has just got worse, poor Noel. Yesterday we had a really good day. A friend of Noel's came to play, we got to swim in the lake and we had dinner out at Jan and Luke's. They have lots of toys we can play with. We fell asleep really quickly last night. Today it rained a little bit and then the sun came out again. Tomorrow will be another nice day and I hope Noel and I can enjoy it to its fullest!

Scaring the monsters

I am sure we have monsters at home. I keep trying to find them and scare them, but so far I have only had time to practice my dangerous face. It has been a busy week. We have been away to SkellefteƄ. We had lots of fun with Felix and Emma and Mormor and Morfar and Moster Sara and Chrille. We did some treasure hunting and played lots in a big play ground and ate cake as Emma was baptised. We have been to the lake swimming as it was very hot. I got to eat some icecream and we had a lunch picnic. Today a dagis friend is coming to play and we are going out to dinner. Life is so busy at the moment I am looking to starting reception class soon!

Eggs

Eggs are wonderful things. They are white and slippery. Sometimes they are difficult to eat. I prefer them whole and not sliced. Daddy likes them sliced on this sandwiches. Mummy likes them both whole and sliced. Noel doesn't like egg. We found some nice machines for geocaching last night. It is sunny today and I wonder what we will do. I wonder if we will pick some more strawberries. There are lots of them in the garden at the moment. Noel can now swing on his own. Mummy, daddy and Noel are all very happy. I wonder if he can still do it today...

Doing photo things with Nellie

Morfar gave me a camera the other week and a few weeks ago Nellie and I spent an afternoon in my bedroom photographing each other. It was lots of fun and we tried lots of advanced effects! This is one of Nellies with a slightly long exposure to give the impression of movement. I still had my long hair. Now it is short and so much more easily washed and looked after in the morning. It is still not as short as daddy's!! Daddy's and Greta's are disappearing and they are both almost normal again. Today daddy took me to the recycling centre and we left lots of hedge cutting and weeds! We will go again very soon...there is lots of weed in the garden.

A summery picture

I was going to post a photo of daddy's spots, but he wouldn't let me. Instead I have posted a midsummer photo of me. Noel and mummy went away to look for treasure today in the woods; they found two numbers, number 7 and number 5. They are going to find some more tomorrow. I wonder what happens when they have found all the numbers. I hope I am well by then and can go out with mummy and Noel. It is fun at home with daddy but I think it sounds more fun to be able to go out and play in the woods with Noel. I can't wait until my spots vanish.

Having fun at home

I am having lots of fun at home with daddy. Noel and mummy keep going out. We do lots of fun things like watching tellytubbies and painting and making a mess. We are very good at making a mess. Today is a banana day. I ate two for lunch and wonder if I should not have another for tea. I hope we have some more in the kitchen. This morning we watched Pingu in the cellar. It isn't too warm today so I am not sure that I will be bouncing very much. May be the sun will come out later. I wonder is I should eat my pancake or let daddy eat it. He has many more spots than me and feel a bit sorry for me. I wonder where mummy and Noel have gone today?

I have fun while Greta and daddy are in quarantine

Daddy and Greta both have chicken pox. Something went wrong. The idea was that Greta was get it and no one else. I am vaccinated, mummy knows she has had chicken pox and daddy had his blood tested for antibodies some years ago and he had them. Alas something went wrong and now daddy is covered in lots of spots. Greta has far fewer spots and is far more active than daddy. The best is that I get to do things with mummy on my own. We have been to the lake to swim, to a train exhibition at the museum, and have plans for some more outings. Today I am playing with a friend, and mummy is shopping while daddy and Greta look after each other at home!

Summer picture

Summer has arrived. This means Noel and I have more time to write on our blog. Today we had visitors and played lots and bounced lots and ate lots and tickled lots and laughed lots. The weather was odd. One minute hot, one minute rain, one minute cloud. We had a wonderful day. Yesterday we went swimming in the lake with mormor and morfar and left daddy at home to trim the hedge and cut the lawn! He was very good and didn't faint in the sun; he wore his sunhat all the time. I wonder what will happen tomorrow....

Behind bars!

the other weekend we went for a long drive into the country and I got looked into a cage along with a very nice rabbit. The rabbit was very impressed and didn't want to play with me. Luckily after a while I got let out and was able to play and have more fun that I had with the rabbit. This week has been a good week at dagis, but I am not really sure what I have done. Tomorrow mormor and morfar are coming to visit and help mummy and daddy put my new trampoline together. I am looking forward to having one in the garden as it will make it so much easier to bounce lots.

Fashion victim

I always have look my best even when cleaning my teeth. I love my Braun toothbrush; it makes such nice noises and plays a little tune when I have finished my brushing my teeth. As you see summer has arrived and it it necessary to wear the latest accessory sunglasses to look chic. My hair was created by my personal hairdresser and the clothes I am wearing were imported by me. Today it is a big day with lots of fires and food. I think food is brilliant, but the fires last year were either too big or too cold. Noel wants to eat candyfloss tonight. I hope I am allowed too as well as I am so good with my teeth cleaning that it cannot be a problem to eat lots of sugar can it?

Catching up with my school work

As you know I have English classes at dagis as daddy is from England. The other evening I tried to catch up with my school work and Greta tried to help. She hasn't quite got the book thing sorted yet and read her book upside down. My book had very few pictures and none of them were of tractors. It was a very disappointing read and I won't be posting a review of the book. Today it is really sunny outside and daddy has been raking the lawn after the winter's snow and mummy has been sorted the flower beds. I noticed that the garlic is growing really well. It is such a shame that I don't like garlic.

Baking for Easter

I have been very busy baking for Easter. We are going to be at home and I have been baking colourful Easter cakes. Tomorrow the Easter holidays start with a day at home with daddy and Noel. I wonder what we will get up to. The snow has melted and I have been using the swings lots. Perhaps we can put up the trampoline. I can't wait. I love using mummy and daddy's bed but they get so annoyed, so a trampoline seems a good solution. Noel did some baked with mormor when he stayed there earlier in the week. I hope we can do something fun tomorrow and surprise mummy we she gets home.

Hot Chocolate in the garden

Spring has arrived. Today we dug paths and seats in the snow. Mummy made lots of sandwiches, buns and hot chocolate and we sat on the seats we dug in our metre of snow, enjoyed the hot sun and relaxed before Noel and daddy rushed off to Noel's swimming class. I had a bath when Noel was away. It was wonderfully warm and fun. I got to splash lots and had a really good time. Luckily mummy got the fish soup ready before Noel got home. I thought it was a most tasty soup. Tomorrow is Monday and it is another week at dagis. I can't wait to play more in the snow.

My beautiful tulips in my green boots

Moster Sara sent me some green boots and when daddy came back from being away I got to put lots of pretty tulips in them as daddy has bought mummy lots of tulips. I got the pretty coloured ones that mummy had bought earlier in the week. The snow is melting quickly now and the snow plough came and cleared the road of snow today so we now have a super high snow pile outside our house. I like this lots. I want to buy a tractor so we can have the highest snow pile ever.

Where has Feburary gone?

Where as February gone. I was pondering this question only the other day. It was cold outside so I had to have my hat and gloves on. It can't just be that February is shorter as it hasn't yet finished. But it has been very cold, perhaps that makes a big difference to how fast time passes? Mormor and morfar were here this weekend and we had lots of fun. We had most fun when mummy and daddy were out for the evening. Perhaps time moves fast when you are at home with cold and can't go to dagid. Both Noel and I have tried this recently. Hopefully tomorrow we can both go to dagis. It is more fun going there if we go together. It was light today when Noel went to his swimming class. Soon it will be summer and bouncy time!

Birthday song for morfar

The other day it was morfar's birthday and at dagis we always sing on someone's birthday. I sang this lovely song for morfar. I think I did it quite well, in fact very well. Perhaps I can become an idol soon. They don't sing much better than me, they just have better producers than I am access to at home (sorry mummy and daddy). The week has been fun so far. I have had lots of energy and have run and hopped and screamed around. I have been having some problems with my hair. It doesn't comb easily and sometimes mummy has to cut out the knots I have put in my hair.

Helping mummy with the baking

The other week I decided to help mummy with the baking and as mummy sat and worked, I made cakes and biscuits. It was lots of fun. I made lots of mess. I am pretty good at making mess. I have a brother to learn things from and this bit I have learnt well, in fact very well. Tomorrow I am going to dagis again. I hope there are some other children there as I have heard that lots of them have also been ill. Noel had lots of fun at Otto's party yesterday. We talked to mormor and morfar on skype yesterday. Last week we also talked to grandma on skype. I wonder what the weather is like in Manchester.

Playing together

Today we played lots together this morning. Right now Greta is sleeping and I am at Otto's 6th birthday party. Last night we went to Busplaneten. We have been off dagis since Wednesday as Greta fell ill on Tuesday evening. It has been both fun and a bit boring to be at home. Hopefully on Monday we are both well and can go back to dagis. Today the sun is shining and it is plus degrees and the snow is melting. There is luckily lots of it so we can still dig and slide.

Having fun with daddy

I love balloons and playing with them with daddy is one of the best things I know! What makes it even better is when Noel is the camera man. He has got really good at taking picture of me as I am sure you all agree. Today is Monday and a full day at dagis. It was plus degrees today which was very weird. It hasn't been that warm for months. The snow started to drop from the trees and it even felt went on the way home with daddy. Mummy has a meeting and will soon be home to eat with us. It will be good to see her. I have so much to tell her about the games we played today at dagis. Lotta was in Noel's class today; we still have Anna! Noel thought it fun to see Lotta again.

Baking with mormor

Before Christmas we got to bake with mormor. We baked lots of biscuits which we then ate! Yummy yummy. Today we are at home because it is Epiphany. Mummy and daddy are also at home. I wonder what we are going to eat for dinner tonight. I think it could be something extra nice. Tomorrow we will be going to the same dagis for the first time. It will be fun to play with each other all day and eat together at dagis. This weekend Noel is going away with mummy to SkellefteƄ and Greta and daddy are staying at home. We are both looking forward to exciting weekends.

Edinburgh

We thought about our lovely trip to Edinburgh today and the chocolate tree and how we need one here too. The playground was pretty cool as well. Today we got to play outside at dagis but it was cold. Daddy picked us up today; luckily he knew where to find us and he remembered to pick up all our things (eventually)! Daddy has made our bedroom very hot. He tried to fix it. It has been very cold for a while and our bedroom was rather chilly. Now it is like a sauna. He thinks he knows what he is doing and tomorrow it will be working properly. Who knows?

Back at Dagis

Things are tough again. Up early and off to dagis to work hard all day. Things really aren't the same as they were only a few days ago when I got to stay up to very late, sit in front of the tv and eat sweets. Not that everyone thought I was doing what I should be doing. Everyone else was drinking bubbles and looking out the window at the fireworks. All very silly I thought. I like sweets, ice-cream, chocolate and that sort of things lots. I like food too.

My New Year's Sparkler

It is now 2011. I am not too sure what that means, but I got to stay up really really late and watch lots of fireworks and hold a sparkler. It was really scary. I have played with my blog today and changed a few things, I hope you all like the changes. I got to see grandma (farmor) on skype the other day. I think she is very clever to get it up and running on her computer. Everyone keeps telling me the days are getting longer now, but I don't see any difference and I still have to go to bed at the same time. Tomorrow Greta and I are returning to dagis for a few hours. I will be fun to see everyone again. Happy 2011!
