Enjoy my evening dip

Today we went shopping (again)! Today we bought rugs. We had not planned to buy rugs, but it was the sales and daddy like to think he has saved money even when he buys things that he would never normally buy. So now we have a new rug for the guest room in the basement, and a new rug for daddy's office. Soon we are going to the dragon playground. I like it lots and haven't been there for ages. We had tacos for dinner. We re-filled the paddling pool today and Greta jumped in for a quick paddle before we went to the shop. We have lots of strawberries in the garden and soon we have raspberries and blueberries as well as rhubarb.

I like chocolate pudding

I love chocolate and Aunty Tamsin's chocolate pudding was a big hit I thought. We got to eat it outside so no one was worried the mess I could make. As it was chocolate I made very little mess; far less than if it had been pasta I was eating. Yesterday mormor and morfar were here. We had lots of fun and I was so excited after they left that I couldn't sleep until 10pm and I woke up at 6! I think I will have a morning nap today. We have a new lamp shade in the playroom. I like it lots, but found it very funny how difficult mum and dad found it to put it up. But they succeeded and it hasn't fallen down.....yet!

Edinburgh has attractions!

The best bit of Edinburgh was the ice-cream. Mum and Dad took Noel and me to visit my God-mother and her baby. They cooked food and then they produced some super excellent yummy ice-cream. I want to visit them again. I like ice-cream. Perhaps my God-mother can do the God-mother thing and talk to mum about giving me more ice-cream. Yesterday I got bitten on my finger by a duck I was feeding. I am not sure I want to feed any more ducks.

Chilling in Edinburgh

I read before we went to Scotland that Edinburgh was the place to be and the place to be seen. I sat on the grass in the centre of Edinburgh and waited to be seen. We didn't have much time and we had to go and find the train back to Manchester before I had been found. Oh well! Next time I will have to try harder to get my face discovered. We had a nice bus ride to the centre of Edinburgh and talked to a old lady who pointed out a dog statue to me. We had lunch in a chocolate tree! The chocolate was excellent and I want to go back very soon.

Preparing for summer

Sometime ago I began to prepare for summer. Today summer is here and I can wear the same dress but without the coat, hat, scarf and wellies! It is much warmer. Noel plays with water to keep cool and mum and dad hid on the deck before the blinds! This morning I went for a long walk with dad. I took him everywhere. I didn't want to be at home alone with him when Noel was having fun shopping in town with mum. The garden is full of wild strawberries and strawberries and rhubarb. It is fun to pick and eat. I prefer the strawberries, but dad has a rhubarb fixation!

Manchester Train Station

I have been busy travelling again and simply not had the time to write as I have been so busy improving my English and trying to understand the English spoken in Manchester and Edinburgh! Neither sound like daddy. What is wrong with daddy I wonder? We had a morning coffee at the station in Manchester before we took the train to Edinburgh to see Sonja and Felix and their new baby, Marlene, and their turtle. I thought the turtle was best and I spent lots of time looking at it and feeding it.
