Spring is fun

I like spring. The snow is melting and there is water everywhere. The wind blows and I am having lots of fun outside. The sandpit has reappeared and the daddy put up the swings today and I have already tried them out. Daddy changed the tyres on the car today (Noel helped). He is now legal again. I hope he knows what he is doing. I don't want the wheels to fall off when we are driving to the shops or to visit mormor and morfar. Mummy and daddy said something about having booked a new trip to England. I hope that we get there this time. I have been helping with the unpacking but I am not sure it is appreciated. I am having lots of fun.

Greta as I see her

I have been taking lots of photos recently and this is a study of my sister, Greta. I think my portfolio of photos is actually quite good. Greta doesn't want to fall asleep tonight and is keeping mummy away from the tv programmes she wants to watch! It seems the Icelandic volcano is going to keep us all away from the planes we were going to take to England. Lots of ash in the air! We shall see when we get away to the sun or if we have to say here and watch the snow melt. I have been out and about on my new bike today.

Out playroom is taking shape

Our playroom is taking shape. Here is a photo of the wall that morfar and daddy fixed at the weekend. They left so much mess that I had to clean up after them! Greta thinks I am very good with the vacuum cleaner. Today Felix and moster Sara have been here to play. It was lots of fun. Morfar and mormor can to pick them up and eat dinner with us. I hope that Felix managed to sleep in the car as he looked very tired when he left. I think I must have played lots with him today as I am very tired too.

Guess where I want to go when I am in England!

Noel keeps talking about doughnuts and the big machine that makes the wonderful chocolate ones. I want to try them next time I am in England. Until then I can only wear one of the wonderful hats that Noel brought back from England when he was there with daddy last summer. The wallpaper is still on the wall today and the room has a lovely echo; I have been trying it out lots. It is wonderful to hear my voice so loudly. I have a bit of a fever today and last night I made sure that mummy and daddy new I was not feeling well. The best bit was standing in front of the open fridge with daddy and falling asleep!

Happy Easter

Happy Easter. It is spring like outside and it feels as it things are beginning to renew. This afternoon morfar and daddy put up my playroom wallpaper. I like it lots as does Greta. Pictures will soon be on the blog. The snow reflects the sunlight and it is so so bright today. I like it lots and the snow is melting fast. Mormor and morfar have gone home now, but Moster Sara and Felix will soon be here. They arrive on Tuesday. I can't wait!

Trying to understand Easter

I have having problems understanding Easter. Mummy and dagis talk about lång (long) Friday, daddy talks about Good Friday. Is it good because it is long? I told mummy and daddy that I had to stay up late last night to make the day long. Lots of snow fell off the roof yesterday and made big booming noises as it landed on the snow on the ground. I wonder when I can get to my swings again? Daddy and I did some painting yesterday and that was lots of fun. I enjoyed it lots and hope that I can do some more today when mormor and morfar are here. I wonder when they will arrive....

Dressing up for Easter

Like all good Christian countries Sweden has odd rituals associated with Easter. We get to dress up as Easter witches and go to the supermarket and get free Easter eggs. It was lots of fun and we got a big bag of sweets each. I got to dress up at dagis as well. The snow has started to melt lots and there is a big puddle in the road outside our house. Daddy was very good and found the drain in the road and now some of the water can run away before it decides to drown our garden and cellar! Tomorrow I am going to stay up very late.
