Eating food is as much fun as I thought

I have been dying to try food for ages. In England I wanted to get my teeth into those chocolate muffins but I wasn't allowed near them. Back home in Sweden I have been allowed to try porridge and cheeseless doodles for children. I want the grown-up ones that taste of something and that chocolate stuff that smells sooooooo good. Noel tried to feed me with a cheese sandwich which really isn't the same. I didn't get much of that either as daddy noticed and told Noel not to feed me. It is so unfair! But I get mummy's milk all to myself and that is the yummiest.

Summer cool

Now that beach 2009 is approaching I had to think about how to style myself to look my best. I decided to have my hair cut short. I think this was successful. I like wearing red as it gives me a tough, but thoughtful look. I hope you agree. It is windy at the moment. I hope that nothing blows away. Tomorrow I am at home all day with mummy and I hope we can play in the garden and go to the big fun playground. Perhaps mummy will let me bake something. I enjoy baking.

I can be a model too!

I have been looking through the old blog posts and learnt that Noel is thinking of becoming a model. I can do that I thought. I am just as cute and here is an out-on-the-town photo that was taken on my recent trip to England. I have learnt to turn my head so that when I face the camera my body is not facing the camera straight on. I have also learnt to smile and look directly at the camera rather than the photographer. I will have to work on developing my portfolio so that it is a multi-facited as Noel's.

I want a trampoline

I had such fun in England on Lara and George's trampoline that I want a one too. I don't understand why no one has bought me one yet! Perhaps I will have to send daddy to England on the boat to pick one up for me. Lara and George's trampoline was so so so good that I want the one they have. I am sure mummy and daddy would bounce on it too if they bought me one. Go daddy go is all I can say!

Telling mummy she is brilliant

Mummy is so clever. She has made me a carrying sling all by herself without my help. It is really pretty and I got to try it other evening. It is not big enough for Noel so it is only for me and I like that! The weather is really good at the moment and I went to town with mummy yesterday and had lots of fun in shops and cafés. I am not sure what we are going to do today but I hope we get to spend some time in the garden. The flower are growing so fast and flowering in lots of different colours and shapes.

Drinking with morfar

I had read all about the English pub culture before I went to England for Greta's baptism, but it exceeded all my expectations. I had lots of fun drinking with morfar on Monday evening. So much so that I feel asleep on the way home and had to be put to bed. I slept really well that night. Everyone else seemed to be most excited that food was half price on Monday nights. I will have to remember this when I take daddy to Sale in July. We are going on our own so I will have to make sure daddy is looked after.

Mummy has a new carrying thing for Greta and me

The other day when I got home from dagis mummy went out and picked up a parcel that I got to open. In it was a box. It contained a long piece of black and white cloth. It was a new carrying cloth that I could try. It was super nice and I got to be carried around in the garden. This weekend we have dug, chopped and played hard in the garden. The sun has shone and we have been away to a BBQ. I had so much fun that after my bath I fell asleep really quickly this evening. I wonder what time I will wake up tomorrow. The sun rises very early at the moment so I am never sure when it is morning and when it is still night time.

I love my penguin

I have fallen in love with my penguin. I love penguins. George also loves penguins. He has lots of penguins; I hope I have as many has him when I am as his age. Noel also likes my penguin and keeps taking him away from me. I tell him off but he does not listen. Today Noel goes to dagis so I have penguin to myself. Hopefully the weather will be good and he will not want to come inside when he gets home. Then I will have penguin to myself even longer! Please Mr Sun shine all day.

Fun with daddy

Today mummy went away with Greta to a baby shower. I got to have fun with daddy at home. We watched some tv, or rather I did while daddy slept! Then we did some tidying and made a lemon meringue pie. I wonder what it tastes like as no one had eaten any of it before I went to bed. I wonder if it was a culinary disaster, or whether mummy and daddy want to eat all of it alone? This morning we worked really hard in the garden and dug lots of plants up to replant them somewhere else. Adults are so weird...

Look cute for a party

Last weekend I went to a birthday party. I wore a hat. I had lots of fun at the party and think that I will become an actor when I get older. I like pretending to be someone else and making up stories. Daddy is good at making up bedtime stories that include my friends. Sometimes the stories are so good that I dream about them when I am sleep. I wonder what we will do this weekend. Mummy has been talking about doing some gardening. On Sunday mummy is going to a baby shower and I am going to have some quality time with daddy. I am looking forward to that.

Café Nero here I come

I am learning quickly about these wonderful places of coffee and cake. Café Nero is the one I like best so far. I simply cannot wait to get back to England to try their chocolate cakes. Noel was allowed to eat one this time, but not me. In fact I wasn't allowed to eat anything. Even at my Christening party and there there was lots of cake. I am sure Noel will tell you all about it soon. Today I went to playgroup with Noel and mummy and met lots of other children. It was lots of fun. Mummy managed to clear the strawberry patch while I took my afternoon nap today. I must say it needed clearing!

Worthington Park with Morfar

The park was fun. There were two playgrounds and a skateboard ramp. There were also trees that had been turned into art. I liked this one lots. Morfar and I climbed up and looked at it very closely. Mormor and mummy were more interested in the flowers. The trees were much greener than in Umeå and the grass was not covered in snow. Today I helped daddy in the cellar. I hope he has time to tidy up before mummy gets to see the mess I made.

Playing at planes

I had such fun flying to England that I have been inspired to fly. Alas it is going as well as my crawling and I am not getting anywhere. I wonder how I am to learn to move forwards and backwards. I look forward to seeing all the photos people took of me at my baptism. Today Noel was at dagis and I slept all morning. I wonder what mummy did? I must try and keep her company tomorrow morning; girl-time is so important. Tomorrow we will have been home a week and daddy still doesn't have all his things unpacked and sorted.

Travelling makes me sleepy

After a couple of weeks in England I was so tired. They spoke English all the time and it was so good that mummy was there and that mormor and morfar appeared. On the aeroplane on he way home I fell asleep. Luckily SAS don't provide food so I didn't miss anything super yummy. Talking of yummy you should have seen the muffins we had in England. They were big and covered in sticky stuff and sweets. Blue liked them too. Today was my first day back at dagis and I told them all about donut machine I saw in the donut shop. We went there for dessert! I liked it lots and hope I can go again soon. I brought a hat from the shop home to Sweden.

My baptism

Noel and I have been off-line for a while. We were in England with mummy and daddy. Greta was baptised in the Church of England by a very nice man who came to see us in his sport's car. Blue the dog liked the priest lots but Blue wasn't allowed to come to church for the baptism. Lots of other people came and I got lots of presents afterwards. Noel got some too. There was lots of singing in Church, and Noel ran to the front and waved at everyone. A priest in the making? Three other children was baptised with me. Some had very odd clothes.
