Relaxing in my room

I like relaxing in my room. Sometimes I pretend to sulk there as well, but I am not very good at sulking for long. This morning I got to talk to farmor (grandma) and I talked Swedish and she talked in English. I am so surprised she understood what I was talking about! This afternoon we have been baking banana muffins. We are going to eat them for afternoon tea. Soon daddy and I are going to bake some bread. I like playing in the kitchen

Me and Humpty

Me and Humpty have become good friends. Humpty came to visit me from Australia and he has stayed ever since. I have problems with my hockey team socks, they keep falling off. I wonder if they fall off every time the team loses? Today I went to town with mummy and daddy and Noel and looked at snow sculptures. I hid under mummy's coat when in town; I felt like Oskar in the Tin Drum. It was very warm and my little head popped out a little hole so I could see where we were going. It was fun, I want to do it again very soon. Noel walked with daddy and help select which sculpture was the best.

Reindeer and sledge rides

Yesterday while Greta was learning about meetings with daddy I was having fun with Uncle Luke and mummy and lots of reindeer and dogs! I went on a sledge ride pulled by a large team of dogs. It was super cool and I told daddy about it lots afterwards. I would take Uncle Paul for a birthday ride today if he was here, but he is not so I can't. The reindeer were fluffy and had horns. I wish we had one to keep in the garden shed.

Enjoying the week

I have had a really exciting week and show how much I have enjoyed it so that mummy and daddy will make next week just as exciting. Daddy hasn't been coming home for lunch this week as he has been meeting lots of new people. He brought two of them home one evening and I had such a grand time. I liked my new friends lots and a Cree lullaby was sung to me to help me relax. Yesterday I went to a meeting with daddy. I am not sure why he goes to so many as it really wasn't that exciting.

Capturing home life on camera

This morning I took the camera and took lots of photos of life at home. I have been reading about photo documentaries and decided it was time to being my portfolio of photos. I ran around the house at great speed and captured daddy talking on the phone whilst carrying Greta. Yesterday mormor and morfar came to visit and we went to a big snowy hill and took my snow-racer with us. It was lots of fun to come quickly down the hill and try and avoid crashing into daddy and Greta. This afternoon we are going again; this time with Uncle Luke and Aunty Jan. I am looking forward to the hot chocolate we will have when we get home.

Observing life

I like to observe. Noel went away today with mummy to the cinema and saw a film. I stayed at home with daddy as it was so cold outside with lots of snow. It is very windy and the fire daddy has made is not yet very good. I am going to send him to the cellar soon to get some wood that burns better. Last night I watched the first of programmes to select the Swedish song for Eurovision. I enjoyed it so much and danced and laughed. It was difficult to fall asleep afterwards. I hope that next week's programme is just as much fun.

Fun at home with snow outside

This week has been fun. Mummy found a tractor to clear the snow so that daddy didn't have to hurt his back again clearing it all. Then it snowed again and there was more snow that had to be moved! Luckily the snow plough hasn't been to visit today so mummy could drive out and get to town to buy me lots of new clothes in the sales! I like new clothes. I think I look good in them. What do you think? We had a brilliant fire today that was red and warm and kept the nasty cold temperature outside. Tomorrow I am going to the cinema with mummy. Daddy is going to stay at home and look after Greta. I hope he knows what he is doing...

Together with Felix

Felix came to visit last week and he was very brave and sat with daddy next to me. We had a very nice time as we supported each other and looked out across the room at Noel and our mummies. Today I had a quiet day at home with mummy and Noel went ice skating with dagis. Luckily he didn't hurt himself and we were able to pick him up and take him home. He has a nice thing to stand on so mummy pushes him along as she pushed me in my pram. Tonight Noel went to sleep by candlelight. He liked that lots.
