I have been thinking

I have been thinking about my new cousin. I hope that morbror Chrille's bubble water machine is working well as the baby will be drinking bubble water. I also hope that morfar has fixed morbror Chrille's car after moster Sara "bangade den". I also wonder when I am going to see him so that I can play footie with him. Today was a fun day as I got to play with my new neighbour Nellie, we also went to the recycling centre and got rid of lots of rubbish. I don't understand why mummy and daddy collect so much rubbish just to drive it away. I helped daddy with the painting again. Soon we will have the best shed in the area. It is looking super good.

I'm now a big cousin

Moster Sara called mummy when we were in town and I am now a big cousin! Moster Sara and Morbror Chrille's baby decided to come out. It is a boy. I was so excited that when I got home I had to start baking a Christening cake. I put my earmuffs on so that I couldn't hear anything and could totally concentrate on my baking. I wonder what he will be called. Hopefully not Noel as that would be very confusing. I wonder when mummy and daddy's baby will decide to come out. Then I will be both a big brother and big cousin. Not that I have a clue what I have to do as a big cousin. I guess I can call Lara and George and ask them!

I like painting!

Yesterday I painted lots with daddy. It was lots of fun. Today I didn't get to paint with daddy, but I had lots of fun at the beach with daddy and mummy. Mostly with mummy as daddy had to go and buy some more paint. Tomorrow mormor and morfar are visiting and I will take them to the beach and have lots of fun with them. Now we are going to town to eat.

So much has happened!

It has been a busy few days. I have helped daddy clean the shed and begin to paint it! I have watched the neighbour chop down a tree so that it fell onto his house, I have been to the lake and played in the sand and swam in water, I have picked lots of strawberries and mummy has made a superb tasty strawberry pie. I have had a BBQ in the garden; I hope mormor and morfar like BBQs as I have lots of sausages for them to BBQ and eat with me. I hope the weather is good on Sunday when they visit so that they can BBQ with me and help with the painting! Daddy is good but I am sure that morfar is better.

Catching the morning sun

I love catching the morning sun. Sometimes I lie on the front steps and enjoy watching the world go by. Today daddy has been tidying the garden and mummy has been looking after me and making sure that I don't get my fingers cut off. The rain has stopped and I think that there are lots of strawberries to pick. I have to get mummy to the cage so that she can pick them. I found lots of wild ones to eat this morning. We had afternoon tea on the deck today. I wonder if we will eat dinner outside or inside this evening. I guess it will depend upon the how windy it is. Perhaps we will get to eat ice cream. I like ice cream lots.

A country weekend

I have been to see the cows by the lake and in the countryside. The cows by the lake live with sheep and pigs and rabbits and in the countryside they live in a big shed most the day as it is so hot. We drove a long way to eat dinner with some friends of mummy's. They had an excellent book about a sopbil (dustcart). They also have cats and lots of berries I picked. Today it is raining so I wonder what we are going to do. Perhaps clean the house and play with my toys. Daddy captured a spider and put it in a glass jar. I like looking at it running around.

BBQ is fun

Today the rain didn't come and the sun shone. We went to the lake and had a BBQ with lots of people. I got to BBQ my own sausages on a long stick. I enjoyed it lots. I also got very wet in the lake as I enjoyed the water and splashed and paddled lots. Daddy wasn't so keen; he thought the water cold! I helped daddy this morning with the chopping of the logs so that we have some wood to burn in the fireplace in the winter. Mummy likes it and we will be at home with the new baby when it is cold outside so I think it good I make sure we have some wood to burn.

Picking strawberries

At the moment most days begin with a dash to the wild strawberry patch where I select the best berries before mum and dad can get there. I still haven't been allowed in the strawberry cage where the best berries are. I did get a raspberry today and that was good. Mummy and daddy are making jam tonight with the rhubarb I helped pick from daddy's rhubarb patch. I am not sure what he is going to do with the rhubarb that is left in the patch. He was talking about making wine. I am not convinced by that as I won't be allowed any and I am not sure he would succeed! The weather has been good today. Tomorrow we are going to have a BBQ by the lake if it doesn't rain.

Cutting things with power

Today I got to cut things with a power tool! Daddy took so long to get around to chopping down the trees in the garden that I had to show him how to do it. Having got him cutting properly I went to town with mummy for a picnic and met some of my friends from dagis and got to run around lots in the park. Then we cycled home and then the ice-cream man came and we bought lots of ice-cream that mummy has hidden in the freezer. Daddy is so silly he won't know where they are and mummy is not quite as much under my thumb as daddy. Tomorrow I don't know what I will do yet. It depends a bit on the weather. If it is good I will help with the painting of the garden shed. I like painting. I wonder why daddy did the painting of the hall without me.

Feeling tired and a bit ill again

Today was another early morning and the result is that I felt really tired around 1pm that I feel asleep. I am still not 100% after my illness and I am being demanding on mum and dad. It is just as well that I have been training them. Soon we are going to the paint shop to buy paint to paint the shed in the garden. I hope we find nice colours that are as bright as my bed! Perhaps yellow and red strips would look good. Yesterday Aunty Jan and Uncle Luke came to visit for fika. I got to play with the hose and fill up my paddling pool. I also got to eat cake and eat some more berries from the garden. Today the sun is shining again and I must go outside soon and play.

Feeling better after sleep and some drugs

After a lot of sleep and some drugs I am feeling much better today. I hope I feel good all day. The weather isn't looking too good so I am not sure what we are going to do apart from shopping and cleaning. Mummy and daddy are still trying to find some furniture for the hall. I think I should be allowed to pick things. I would have more colourful things to cheer up the hall. While we were away the first strawberries turned red and I have already eaten some of them. Soon there will be lots of them. I hope we can bake a cake and put strawberries all over it.

So much fun in Stockholm

This week I have been in Stockholm. We flew there and back and stayed with moster Sara and morbror Chrille. I had lots of fun and I got super loads of attention. I like visiting them. They had a nice BBQ and lots of plants and water to play with and a TV that had more children's tv than we have at home (hint hint mummy and daddy). We went to the Stockholm Gammlia called Skansen. It had a few more animals and people. The best was that we had to use four trains to get there and back! Two trains above ground and two below. We also got to go on a ferry. It will be so boring going to dagis on mummy or daddy's bike now. I also went paddling in a lake and enjoyed it lots. Hopefully we can go to the lake here soon. At the moment I am ill so I guess we won't be going there for sometime.

Home from mormor and morfar's

I am now home again. Daddy has transformed the hall into something else. I like it much better than before. I had lots of fun when I was away and the weather was really good. Soon the strawberries will be ripe and I can eat them. Daddy wants to make some jam, but I am not going to let him. I want to eat them with cream. Today I heard the baby's heartbeat at the midwife's clinic. It was very fast and a bit fuzzy. Mummy is beginning to look big, but she is no where near as big as moster.

Can't wait to visit mormor and morfar

Yesterday we drove to mormor and morfar's. I am staying there for a few days while daddy does some painting at home. Mummy is going to take the bus home tomorrow to help daddy and I get to stay with mormor and morfar. I was so excited yesterday that I ran round and round in circles with my backpack on. Today I have been chasing morfar with the hose. I think it is fun to get him wet. The weather is hot so it doesn't really matter, does it? I wonder what I will do this afternoon.

Look what happens when I help with the baking!

Today I helped mummy with the baking. The results were so good that I am now considering becoming a chef when I get older. Perhaps a tv one with a silly accent as those programmes are most successful. We went to the paint shop today and bought lots of things to paint the hall. The machine that mixed the paint was awesome. I hope the machine got it right and the colour looks good in the hall. I turned the page on the calendar as it is the first of July and found yet another wonder photo from my portfolio. I must be so famous to have a whole calendar based on me. I wonder why I am so famous....
