Enjoying the summer

Summer is fun. I have been driving my bobby car around the garden and filling my trailer with sand. We went to town today and I got to play with some toy trains. I also got to eat some more desert that moster made when she was visiting. Daddy cut some more lawn under my keen eye and he also cut some branches off of the trees near the pavement. He even vacuumed my play-rug today. Mummy cooked yummy food for lunch and for dinner. Mummy and I got the breakfast ready today. Daddy was lazy and stayed in bed until we had the table ready. Tomorrow I make sure he gets up and gets breakfast for mummy.

In the garden

Today the sun came out and we had lots of fun. Mum and dad finished the frame that covers the strawberries with net so that the birds cannot eat them. I fear the netting is also to stop me eating them as well. I took a walk to daddy's office so he could fax something. He wasn't very good at it but finally he got it working. We also went to the shops and bought a few things for the garden. I also got to water and that is always fun. This week I have no dagis. I wonder what I will do instead. It is so difficult to remember what I did before I went to dagis. Today daddy did some painting outside and mummy has promised me that I can help when we paint the shed in the garden! I can't wait.

I took a photo for George's birthday

Today is my cousin George's birthday and I took a picture of daddy so that George would remember how his Uncle looked. I also told mummy to put up lots of red balloons to celebrate George's birthday. We have no flagpole at home so we cannot put up the flag in the way we do at dagis when it is someone's birthday. Mummy took me to dagis today. I wonder what we will do. Earlier in the week we went to see the chickens and the cows and the pigs. I wonder what George will do.

Baby

I like baby on Tellytubbies and now mummy is getting tubby I understand that she has a baby in her tummy just like moster. I wonder when the baby will come out and where it will sleep. I guess there is room in my bed. It would be nice to have someone to keep me warm at night. The weather isn't very warm at the moment and I like to wear my green rain coat when outside just in case it starts to rain. Today mummy will be picking me up from dagis and we will cook dinner together for daddy. Yesterday I helped daddy cook the pasta for mummy. I like cooking. Daddy mentioned making rhubarb pie tonight. I do hope that he has remembered.

New clothes!

I have a new super wonderful t-shirt! It has a tractor on it. I like tractors and play with them at home and at dagis. I also like picking the yellow flowers from the lawn. I am not allowed to pick flowers from the beds with lots of lovely different coloured flowers. This morning I didn't wake up until 7:20 and mummy and daddy ran around like headless chickens trying to get everything ready in time for me to go to dagis and eat breakfast. I don't get it, when I wake up early they are not pleased and when I sleep lots they get stressed! Adults are odd.

Learning bad tricks with moster

Midsummer was fun and moster taught me lots of new tricks! I got to teach her how to sit in the correct spot in the kitchen so that we could lick the beaters. She and mummy mad a super yummy cake that was BIG. So big that mummy put half of it in the freezer last night so that we have some to eat next weekend. Today it is raining. It is so good that morbror Chrille cut the lawn when the sun was shinning at the weekend. I wonder what the weather will be like tomorrow? We managed to sing and walk around the midsummer pole in the wet grass after it had stopped raining on Midsummer eve. Next week I will be at home and have my dagis summer holidays.

Looking forward to midsummer

I am looking forward to midsummer almost as much as mummy and daddy are looking forward to midsommer murders. Moster Sara and morbror Chrille will be visiting and that is always fun. The sun is shining again this morning and I hope it is tomorrow again. It feels like I have had a very busy week with all my guests and their coming and goings. Last night I watered the garden and played on the swings. I wonder who will pick me up from dagis today and what I will do tonight?

A very busy weekend

What a busy weekend! So much happened and so many people can to visit me. First moster appeared on Saturday morning as I sat watching tv, then after we had played lots and moster had gone away with some of her friends, mormor and morfar appeared! I went to the playground with mormor and played in the garden and ate strawberries and got lots of new sand from morfar's car. Today we went to ICA Maxi to buy food. I got to show moster around and eat a banana. Then this afternoon daddy pulled up lots of weeds and mummy planted some plants and I went far a long walk with moster. Moster has a baby in her stomach, but even thought I have asked her show me it, I have to wait until later in the year. Tomorrow is a dagis day.

Learning to control with the mouse

Tomorrow Moster Sara is coming to visit and I have to learn how to follow her flight on the internet so that mummy and daddy don't forget to go to the airport to pick her up. Using mummy's mousepad was difficult but I finally got the hang of it. Tomorrow I have to day off dagis as they are going to evaluate themselves! I think they are pretty good and I have such a good time when there that I hope they feel they can give themselves high marks. I wonder what I will do tomorrow...perhaps I get to go to work with mummy and daddy!

Flying in the garden

I go so excited with my new hammock that I decided to try flying. It worked really well. I hate heaps of fun. So now I can either sit and relax and watch the world roll past or fly through the air and get watched people passing by. I also go to meet our new neighbour today. She is a little younger than me, but pretty smart I think. She understood me much better than daddy who really doesn't do too well when I speak Swedish to him. We also went the Uncle Luke and Aunty Jan's for lunch today. I had lots of fun and got to play with Hilding as well. Tomorrow I go to dagis. I wonder what we will do this week?

Relaxing in the sun

Life is really hard sometimes and I have to get away from it all. The best way I have found so far to chill out in the garden hammock that mummy and daddy have put up in the big tree in the garden. With the sun on my face and the breeze in the leaves I could so easily fall asleep. All that is lacking is the butler who brings me my G&T. Not that I am totally sure what that is, but it seems to be rather like milk. Today I took daddy to the playground in the morning and sent mummy to town to buy me some more summer trousers. We had a really summery afternoon tea with strawberries and cream and homemade rhubarb crumble. I like summer.

In the tree with mummy

We have this really mega-big tree in the garden. At the moment it is covered in white flowers and is really pretty. The other evening I climbed on mummy's back and when into the white area. It was amazing. It was very scented too. Today was really hot and I got to wear my three-quarter length trousers. They are bright orange! I love them. Tomorrow is a holiday and mummy and daddy will be at home all day to look after me as dagis is closed. I wonder what we will do. They said something about seeing piglet! I hope I heard correctly as I love pooh.

Enjoying the hot weather

The weather has gone all hot and dry. I like this as I can play outside, water the garden and anything near me, play in my sand pit (pittet) and generally have a good time. I am sleeping so well after my active days. Today we had a summer party at dagis. The theme was blue and yellow as Sweden's national day holiday is on Friday and I get the day off. Hurrah an extra day at home with mummy and daddy. During the party, an ice-cream van came to visit and we had blueberry muffins! I liked them so much I ate two. I cycled to dagis on daddy's bike and home on mummy's. How my seat got from daddy's bike to mummy's I don't know.

BBQ at Dagis

Last week we had all the parents over for a BBQ at dagis. It was lots of fun and we had cake that we had made together with our dagis teachers. We also sang songs. I like singing but mostly at home when I am trying not to fall asleep or when I want to wake up mummy and daddy. Today we had people to visit and we made a rhubarb pie from the rhubarb I picked from the garden this morning. Mummy also made a cheesecake that was yummy and cold. Daddy also cut the lawn so it is now much shorter and has fewer flowers in it. Tomorrow it is dagis again. This week is a short week as Friday is the National Day holiday. I wonder what we will do for that.
