Getting ready for bed

We have been away for Easter at my grandparents' place in SkellefteƄ. It was super fun and there was new snow. I got an egg and a tractor and we played in the snow and slid down the snow hill. It was the best. I want to do more and cannot wait until I get my snowboard and skis. Sometimes before I go to bed I put on my Thomas the Tank Engine gown. I am also going to take this to the swimming pool if I go there this weekend. I tried on my swimming trunks and they still fit me. So splash splash splash.

Learning how to be cool

The best with spring is that the sun comes out and together with the fluffy new snow everything lots bring and beautiful. I have some news sunglasses that I have been trying out. I think they lift my coolness to new levels. I am so impressed that I have started to wear them when I watch TV. I made some chickens for the Easter table this week. I was ill so I was at home all week with Mummy and daddy. I liked being at home, but it is more fun at dagis. I hope that you all have a Happy Easter. I wonder if Lara is looking forward to her Easter Egg tomorrow. I know that mummy and daddy are looking forward to their first cups of coffee since Lent started.

Relaxing on the sofa

I think I have dad under my thumb. He brings me food on the sofa on these nice little plates with koalas on. This weekend I learnt to say the word lullaby (vaggvisa). I am not sure why as mummy and daddy have never sung me to sleep! In fact for me it is a totally useless word. My current favourite words are nya (new) and mera (more). They work for almost everything. Why have lots of words when only a few work perfectly?

hugging Thomas

The other day I found daddy's Thomas cushion in my bedroom. It was something grandma made for him when he was a student. I think it looks just like Thomas and is really cuddly. We have just been out for an afternoon walk in the sun. It was fun. I sat in my pushchair and mummy and daddy pushed me around. I needed a rest as I got daddy up at 5:15am today. Tonight is a the final of Melodifestivalen (Sweden's Song for Europe) but I will be asleep and not see it. When I was little I got to see Lordi win the Eurovision Song Contest, but now I am big I have to be good and try and sleep all night. This is not always easy.

Shaving daddy's head

Yesterday I decided that daddy's hair was too long and that something had to be done about it. So I shaved all his hair off. I wasn't too good at the beginning but I go really good by the end. I think daddy looks so much better without hair. Perhaps I can shave his head every week. Today I got to cycle to dagis on mummy's bike. This is the first time this year that I have been on a bike. Last week I there was still enough snow that I go use the spark to go to dagis. I wonder if there will be more snow by the weekend or whether spring is really in the air

Yoga

I have started to realize that I must improve my yoga. So far I can only do the dog well. In fact much better than mummy and far better than daddy. I have started to read about how to get better. It looks so easy in the book, but it never turns out that way when I try. I guess that is why daddy is so bad at yoga. Tomorrow mormor and morfar are back from Thailand! I can't wait to talk to them all about it on the phone. Not that know what or where Thailand is.

Where is his head?

I thought it was about time I uploaded some of my own photography. This is a picture of me (you can see me in the calendar on the wall). Daddy rather got in the way and thought I was trying to take a photograph of him. He smiled, but I forgot to keep his head in the photo. It is a very good photo of his t-shirt. Today I was at dagis all day and had lots of fun. This evening the tractor has been around clearing the snow. It was super good fun to watch. I hope he comes back tomorrow and clears some more snow.

Bob is so good!

Bob the builder is really good. I enjoy watching it and learning about building and how to make roads and bridges. Today the big lorry came to clear the snow again. Then daddy went out to clear the drive so mummy could go to her yoga class. I have promised to be really good tonight and fall asleep quickly with daddy and then I will get a big kiss from mummy when she comes back from her yoga class.

Thomas has to join in

I have just got a really exciting new Thomas and Friends DVD. I think it is so good that my Thomas has to join in the action. Today I woke up early which didn't impress daddy or mummy. I am going to try to sleep longer tomorrow, but I really don't know how to fall back to sleep once I have woken up. I should talk to daddy who fall back to sleep so very easily. We went shopping today and we went for a walk around the block in the snow. More is falling again tonight.

A tulip for my Aunty Tamsin's Birthday

Happy Birthday Aunty Tamsin! This is a tulip I have grown all by myself. I planted it in the Autumn and it spent the winter in the cellar and then we took it up to the kitchen. Then it grew and now it has flowered! None of the bulbs daddy planted have flowered yet. In fact many haven't even started to grow. Today is Friday and my last day at dagis for this week. We are going to sledge down a big hill today. I can't wait. It will be such fun.

I don't get enough breakfast

Some morning I wake daddy up at 6am and it takes such along time for him to get sorted that I have to take things into my own hands and take the cereal packet to the bedroom. I then sit on the floor while mummy and daddy lie in their bed not talking very much. Today I had lots of fun at dagis and got to stroke a reindeer! It is Sami week at the moment and that is why the reindeer were visiting!!

Back to the 80s

Living in a box, living in a cardboard box. Boxes are fun. You can hid in them, turn them upside down and jump on them. They are such fun and you can break them and mummy and daddy don't get annoyed. That is the best bit! There seems to be an endless supply of boxes coming into our house. The latest boxes came with big lights in them for the big window. Daddy, mummy and moster Sara had to work together to get them up. They look really good and I can finally see what I am doing.
