Santa is wonderful

The best bit of Christmas was when Santa came. Here I am getting presents from him. We have been home for a few days now (daddy forgot the camera cable at morfar and mormor's!). The weather has been excellent and everything looks like it should at Christmas with snow. Alas we all have nasty colds and haven't been able to play outside as much as I want to. Today we took a walk and I played outside in the snow with daddy. Tomorrow he is talking about going skiing with me and tells me that I will be better than Uncle Paul. I am not sure about this. Greta gets weighed and measured again tomorrow. I am sure she has grown lots and she is beginning to sound lots too.

Trees

Today we had Christmas both indoors and outdoors! Lots of white fluffy snow fell from the sky when I was asleep and then we brought in the Christmas Tree and decorated it. Today was exciting as lots of people came to visit us. Mormor, moster Sara, morbror Chrille, Felix and Fredrik!

Out for a walk

Today I took mummy and daddy and Greta out for a walk. I thought it was about time she tried to sleep in the pram, and she liked it lots. I pushed her half way around the block and then mummy took over. We also met lots of neighbours and I played with Lova and with Nellie. After the walk mummy made hot chocolate and cheese sandwiches and we also had some ginger biscuits (pepparkakor) that I made with mormor last weekend.

Tomorrow moster Sara is coming together with morbror Chrille and cousin Felix. Daddy and I are picking them up at the airport. Then mormor is coming as well, she is picking them up and driving them to Skellefteå for Christmas. Now I have to sleep so I have lots of energy for all tomorrow's excitement!

My first bath

Today I had my first bath at home. Mummy and Noel put lots of water in my little blue bath in the middle of the kitchin. Daddy took my clothes off and put me in the warm water. It was nice. I lay there and didn't scream even when Noel washed my hair. He was very careful. After the bath I got to hug mummy lots and then we went to the bed and slept for a bit while daddy and Noel went to the shop to buy me some new nappies. Daddy was very good and didn't buy anything naughty. For afternoon tea mummy, daddy and Noel ate the buiscuits that Noel made last weekend with mormor. They all think they are really good. I cannot wait until I can read solids so I can try one too.

Greta takes lots of looking after

My sister Greta takes up lots of my time. I sit and hold her, I sit and stroke her and I have to tell mummy when she needs feeding. She makes lots of noise when she wants food. I have been trying the same technique but it doesn't seem to work as well for me as for Greta. Today was my last day at dagis before Christmas and when I go back we have moved backed into the old building that has been painted and repaired! I am looking forward to that. Greta is too small for dagis and spends the whole day at home. I wonder what she does without me?

My sister has started her acting career

My sister has already started her acting career. Before she came home a big real film camera took a scene of my sister breast feeding. Some how daddy was also in the scene. That I don't understand. When I was little and breast fed it was a mummy and me thing. I wonder when the film will be released. Tonight I read a book all about trucks and tractors to daddy. It was the book Kattegat bought me for my birthday. I like this book and I like trucks. It has snowed today so tomorrow I will be able to help daddy clear the snow. The film with this blog entry is one mummy made earlier today of my little sister as she lay on the sofa. I think she looks cute in this film.

Meeting Noel

I meet my brother Noel yesterday when he came to visit me. Today he and daddy came with the car to take mummy and me to something called home. It is very nice there, but a bit noisey at times when Noel is running around. Noel is very nice and strokes me sometimes and wants me to sleep in his bed with him. Mummy and daddy told him that I was too fragile and it wasn't a good idea. I hope he isn't too upset and can sleep all night. I need lots of rest after the biggest drive of my life.

My little sister

Today after dagis I got to go to the hospital to see my new baby sister. She slepts LOTS, and made some small noises, but nothing as loud as I can. She is very cute and rather like me I think. I had so much fun at the hospital that I didn't want to go home and have dinner. Daddy made me. It was really wet on the way home and slippery and I think daddy was glad that he could use my pram as his zimmerframe (rullator). Mummy and sister hope to come home tomorrow. I can then show my sister all my toys, my room and how everything works at home. I had superfun when mummy and daddy were at the hospital as morfar was here and played with me and helped me find food to eat and things to drink. I was so tired that I didn't want to get up to go to dagis this morning.

More play in the snow

This weekend I played more in the snow. My birthday present, the snow-plow, plowed the deck and i filled it with snow to be tipped off the deck. Those machines are so clever! I told mummy I had to clear the deck so we can eat out there again soon, but she said it is lots of months of snowmen and snowangels and snowballs first.
After playing on the deck i took daddy around the block with my snow racer (bob). Someone had to pull me since it is not downhill all the way. After that we also had to find my skis so I could try them again. I remember from last winter it was fun but a bit difficult. It still was!

Baking for Lucia

We have to do something when we are waiting for the baby to come. Today we took some stars and candlesticks out, and mummy changed the curtains to red ones. I think she is trying to make the baby come by doing lots of things! Then in between she gets tired and has to lie down. I like that since I like cuddeling on the sofa too. It was good that she let daddy do the vaccuming, we watched that bit from the sofa. After the candlesticks and stars and curtains and vacuuming we did some baking. I used the new apron (förkläde) I got for my birthday. I wish I could let you all taste the buns, now you have to cope with only looking at them!

A busy and snowy week

Life has got so much faster since I turned three. It has snowed lots and daddy had to clear the drive so we could get out, I have been to dagis and had lots of fun sliding down the hill, mormor, gammelmormor and great uncle lennart came to visit last night. I didn't know they were going to visit and it was an excellent surprise. We are still waiting for the baby to arrive. Every day they ask at dagis and I tell them we have a baby in mummy's tummy. I think it will be a big sister for me.

Birthday, now i am 3!

My birthday was the best. When I woke up I found lots of parcels wrapped in colourful paper in mummy and daddy's bed. There were presents to me! I opened them all and there were all the best. I have had lots of fun playing, reading and colouring today. At dagis I gave everyone some melon to celebrate my birthday and at home we got to eat some more of my birthday cake. I love cake! I got a present from dagis that was a bag with my name, foot and hand prints on it. All the children sang for me and we got to play lots in the snow. I think everyday should be my birthday.

Snow!

Yesterday when we woke up it was all white outside. I just had to go out and play! Luckily, the cold I had the last couple of days got better so I was allowed to go out.

When we played outside for a bit (yes, both mummy and daddy had to come with me) a car stopped and it was mormor, morfar and gammelmormor. They came to celebrate my birthday 2 days early since they can not come on Tuesday. We mad a biiig birthday cake, so half of it is still in the fridge for tomorrow. Tomorrow I will be 3 years old and I promise to tell you all about my day!

Peter came to visit

Yesterday Uncle Peter (that is Kattegatt's daddy) came to visit for dinner. He brought a student with him. I got to play lots and learn about how good my speech development is, but that my fricatives don't fricate yet! I took lots of photos and had lots taken of me. In the evening I fell ill so I have spent today at home with mummy this morning and daddy this afternoon. I rested lots on the sofa and got daddy to serve me with drinks. I like this, but after a few hours it gets very boring and I have to run around, jump and build towers. Tomorrow I will be at home again. Soon it is my birthday.

At leos lekland with mormor

Last Friday mormor was here when I woke up and we went to Leos lekland with mummy. I had so much fun and helped to make mormor very tired. She was so tired she had to stay the night and morfar had to come and pick her up. Morfar also helped daddy put things up on the wall! We also had fika with Father's day cake. I liked it mostly because the cake was blue. Today I was picked up from dagis by car! I like that as we get home so much quicker. Yesterday I walked to daddy's office and spent sometime there before going home with daddy. We had art at dagis today; I like being creative and in touch with my inner self.

Tomorrow when I wake up...

mormor will be here. I cannot wait. I didn't know mormor was coming to visit until mummy told me when she picked me up at dagis. Two days ago I banged my nose at dagis. Luckily the doctor didn't notice yesterday when I was measured (99cm) and weighed (16.9kg). I had to point at pictures and say what they were. I also got to play with some super fun toys. Mummy went to yoga so I got to look after daddy. That took lots of my time and I missed some of my favourite tv programmes. This morning daddy got up before me and I got to play with mummy in the bed before I got up, dressed and taken to dagis.

Tuesday, 4 November 2008

Soon I will need hair wax!

I have begun to think about my image and soon I will need some hair wax to keep my hair in place when playing at dagis. I wonder if I will get some for my birthday? Soon I will be three years old. Today I had a really good time at dagis and got to play lots outside. It was a nice sunny day and not too cold. The past few days we have had a fire at home as it has been a bit chilly, but today it wasn't needed. Tomorrow I go to the doctor for my 3-year control. I wonder what they will do with me! Mummy says they will measure me and may be look in my ears. It is a long time since I was there last and don't remember what they did. I wonder if it is like going to the dentist and I get a present for being a good boy.

Mummy's bump

Mummy is getting bigger. Soon I will have to share mummy and daddy with a baby. I am sure I will get used to it but it will be very wierd. Yesterday we had a disco at dagis and that was so much fun that I became very tired and slept really well last night. The weather is getting colder and soon I hope we have some snow. I think it is unfair that they have had snow in London and we haven't had any yet. Mummy picked me up from dagis today and took me home. Yesterday she took me to daddy's job and I met lots of students. It is very dark at the moment; I wonder where the sun has gone?

Being a bloke after a hard day at work!

Today I was back at dagis. It was a long day and when I got home I just had to put up my feet on the sofa and be waited on. Daddy turned on the tv and I watched my favourite programmes. It is dark outside now when I get home. Hopefully the snow will arrive soon and everything will be white, light and fluffy. Felix was christened at the weekend and he got some nice little shoes from me and a fun educational toy that I will have to help him with when I see him next. I guess that will be at Christmas. Before then I will have my birthday and my new sibling will arrive. There is going to be lots of exciting things in my life.

Friday, 24 October 2008

Today I made a birthday card

Today I have not be to dagis but was at home this morning with mummy and in daddy's office this afternoon. Before lunch we drove to a school and bought lots of nice cakes and then drove to mummy's office where we met daddy and had lunch. In the afternoon I was with daddy and watched someone bang a nail through a book in the library! Adults are really weird! Today is my cousin Lara's birthday and this morning mummy and I made her a birthday card that we will finish over the weekend and post to England. I hope she doesn't mind it being a bit late.

Flying with daddy

Mummy's friend took a photo of me, daddy and mummy when she was visiting. I was flying with daddy; I enjoy flying and we do it lots. Mummy is getting bigger faster than I am and I don't get to fly with mummy much at the moment. Today I came home from dagis early as I was coughing lots and had problems with my lunch. We also went out in the car to get some sand for the winter. Daddy filled two big buckets and I filled my little blue bucket. So when the snow comes I will be able to help daddy sand the ice so that no one falls over outside our house.

Daddy is wierd!

Sometimes I worry about my daddy. Felix wasn't too sure either at the rubbish my daddy was saying to him today. It sounded like lots of random names from Winnie the Pooh! I had a really good day today at dagis. I was picked up by Moster Sara, mummy and Felix. They came early and then we went home and had lots of fun. I showed Felix lots of things, but he simply fell asleep. I think he was tired. It has started to rain again. I wonder if there will be lots of lovely puddles at dagis tomorrow! I hope so.

Felix is so cute!

Felix is so cute. He arrived today at the airport on a big plane together with Moster Sara. Mummy and I went to pick him up in morfar's car and when we got home daddy turned up on his bike. He helped me carry Felix into our house. Felix and I have had lots of fun talking to each other and watching my favourite tv programmes. Felix has big lungs and can make lots of noise. Soon it is time for bed for me. First I must clean my teeth and put on my bedtime tea-shirt. I wonder what Felix and I will do together tomorrow.

Friday, 10 October 2008

The weekend will be fun

Today we drove to mormor and morfar's. First we stopped at the health centre to listen to the new baby. Then we drove nonstop to mormor and morfar's. Mummy and daddy ate dinner there and then drove away in morfar's new car. I hope daddy drove it safely home. They are going to clean all day tomorrow so that when I come home on Sunday everything is clean and tidy. On Wednesday moster Sara and Felix are coming to visit. I have been thinking which toys Felix will want to play with. It is difficult as I am not sure what he can do. He is still young and little. I hope he likes the same things as me. Tomorrow I might go swimming with morfar.

Sunday, 5 October 2008

I am setting myself up as a photographer

Yesterday mummy's friend Sara came to visit. She is training to be a photographer and has a super large camera. I was only allowed to used mummy and daddy's small camera but I took some well constructed photos. This is the one I took of mummy and daddy. They look almost normal for being my parents. Today it is raining. Daddy says it feels like winter in England. I wonder when I will get to spend the winter in England. No doubt sometime in the future when I am bigger. I hope the weather is better tomorrow, but that there are still lots of puddles to jump about in at dagis.

Kattegatt wrote and I've been to the gym

Earlier in the week a postcard arrived from Kattegatt with her picture on the front. She looked most wonderful in her furry coat. I hope the she is being well-looked after. I went to the gym with daddy this morning and we got to run around, hop, pretend to be aeroplanes and do all sorts of funny things. I enjoyed it lots but didn't want to shower afterwards. I told daddy he had to be brave and do that on his own. He managed. Soon it must be time for afternoon tea and I hope that mummy has more of those yummy chocolate cakes we had yesterday. She bought them from a local school. Daddy says that mummy baked a chocolate cake herself this week. Perhaps we get that today. I am sure it will be good.

Life is so busy! Soon I will need a vacation!

My life is so busy at the moment and I am finding difficult to find time to keep up my blogging. Tonight however I have found time. Last weekend I did some building with morfar. Our new TV now hangs safely on the wall. Morfar made lots of noise when sorting things. I borrowed daddy's ear protectors so that I could help morfar. Tomorrow I go to the gym with daddy again. Last weekend I had a little cold and decided it was best not to go, but tomorrow I will be there running and doing my situps with enormous amounts of energy. Dagis has been super exiting this week with cranes and diggers and new buildings. Daddy did lots of motor sawing last weekend and now we have lots of wood for the winter. I cannot wait until I can make a new snowman. Perhaps I get a vacation to make him.

Having my hair cut

I forgot to let you all know that I had my hair cut when I was visiting mormor and morfar. I had to sit and be very still. This was very difficult. I mean someone was waving scissors around near my ears. I think it scary when daddy cuts my nails, but my ears are not on my hands. I was very happy with the result; it made me look so much cuter. Today I got to wear a new red shirt with a car on. I like red and I like cars. Today there was a tractor at dagis. I watched it move sand around. It was yellow. Hopefully it will be at dagis again tomorrow.

Tuesday, 23 September 2008

My new shoes

I have wonderful new shoes. They arrived in a bag from New Zealand and have aeroplanes on them. I like aeroplanes as they bring moster to visit and will be bringing Felix to see me very soon. I wonder how he will enjoy flying on his mummy's lap. Today we had our photos taken at dagis and I wore my fire-engine shirt. We almost missed breakfast this morning as daddy and I overslept! Luckily mummy had set her alarm and was able to get us up, dressed and out the door on time. I went to daddy's office on the way home and drew on his white board and talked to some of his students.

Tuesday, 16 September 2008

I had an awesome weekend away

Last weekend we went to mormor and morfar's. Mummy and daddy picked me up from dagis in the car and we drove directly to Skellefteå. On Saturday mummy took daddy shopping for trousers and I got to play with mormor and morfar. We went to the big boat playground and we went to the carwash at morfar's work. In the evening Mummy and Daddy went to the cinema and I fell asleep before they came home. On Sunday Daddy and morfar took me to the forest. There we picked berries. I ate lots as well so I was surprised how many we had picked when we got home. Mummy and mormor are going to bake with the berries. I look forward to eating the things they bake with them.

Making mummy happy

This is me in mummy's new baby carrying and big coat. I liked it lots! I could hide under it and hug mummy. This morning when I woke up I hugged mummy lots as daddy was away. It was early and mummy didn't seem to happy. I tried so hard to make her happier by hugging her and moving her elbow around and asking her lots of questions. Daddy picked me up from Dagis today and we went to his office. It was fun. Then we cycled home and mummy cooked. Mummy was very tired and she said that she was going to go to bed just after me. I hope she gets a good night's sleep. I am going to do my best to sleep all night in my own bed. Winter is coming. Soon I will have to bring all my outdoor toys inside so that they don't get too cold.

Friday, 5 September 2008

Mummy is getting bigger =)

I keep telling you mummy is tired in the evenings and a baby is coming to live with us another day (en annan dag). Well - this is what mummy looks like today! She says it is an awful photo but I think it shows her size very well. I wonder what it will be like to have a little brother or sister. May be I will meet my cousin Felix soon so I can practice. I like babies!

Ready for winter

Today we went shopping and found my new winter clothes. So now I am ready for winter, even though mummy says it will take some time before snow comes. I am soo much looking forward to it. Yesterday I made snow angels in the sand with Anna-Kajsa at my dagis.

Wednesday, 3 September 2008

Tina eat your heart out!

I like cooking and I think I would be a better tv chef that Tina or Jamie. This evening I cooked dinner. Daddy helped a little bit and mummy finished the sauce when she got home. I wasn't too sure about how good the food was and didn't eat much just in case something had gone wrong with the cooking. The rain has come again. We had lots of fun in the puddles at dagis and daddy came and picked me up under lots of rain clothes. I took my airport book to dagis today and tomorrow we will read it together. I think the other children are getting better at English and some even say bye bye to daddy when he come to pick me up.

Monday, 1 September 2008

Resting after dagis

Today I hid from daddy when he came to pick me up from dagis. I hid behind the bushes with my friend and we picked the redcurrants. The sun has been shining and we played outside lots. This evening we went to the shop to pick up two parcels. One was a birthday present from moster Sara for mummy and the other was some clothes from that we had ordered from H&M. I got a lovely red cars t-shirt. After all this excitement I am feeling tired so I am watching my favourite TV programmes. Mummy is sitting with me reading a rather boring looking book. Daddy is going to tidy the kitchen before he brushes my teeth and puts me to bed.

Sunday, 31 August 2008

Soon summer will be over

Summer is coming to an end! Yesterday was mummy's birthday and Uncle Paul called! He cannot make popcorn. Mummy is the best at that. She is always making popcorn. Sometimes I get some in my own plate to eat outside on the deck. It rained lots yesterday. I went to town with mormor and mummy and bought some winter clothes. I like shopping. Morfar put together a chest of drawers for mummy and daddy's bedroom. They liked the cake mummy and I had made for mummy's birthday and they also liked the sandwich cake we had made! It is fun when daddy is away as I get to help lots in the kitchen.

Wednesday, 27 August 2008

I like banging

I am getting much better at hitting things with hammers and sticks. Some of the tools as still a bit too big for me but I am growing. These week I have been having lots of fun at dagis driving their tractors around. Today mummy picked me up from dagis and I helped her with the dinner. Yesterday I helped daddy make the waffle mix and grate carrots. This morning I helped him with the porridge and spilt some of on the floor before we manage to get it to the cooker. Daddy was super cool about it and just cleaned up the mess. I helped! This weekend is mummy's birthday. I hope we get to eat ice cream.

Saturday, 23 August 2008

Pumping my egg-shapped ball

Well it is actually daddy's ball and not mine. But I still helped make it hard today. It bounces in a very funny way around the lawn and I like that. I need one that I can hold as this one is way too big. The weather finally turned sunny today and we played outside after we had been shopping. We bought some pictures for the wall today and some milk. (Not at the same shop!) The Olympics is almost over so hopefully it will be easier to watch children's programmes when I want to. Although the men jumping into the water in their big splash competition was fun to watch today. We picked lots of red currants yesterday and mummy made a cake this evening. I hope I can eat some tomorrow after I have woken up.

Tuesday, 19 August 2008

Looking after mummy

Mummy has had a nasty cold for the past few days and I have been looking after her. I have been making sure that she relaxes and watches tv. This has helped her fall asleep. We have been watching loads of children's tv programmes. This morning I baked a pie with daddy: A mincemeat and pineapple pie. I made some special small apple pies for mummy. She was very happy with me when she came home from work. It has rained lots today.

Sunday, 17 August 2008

Thinking hard

Sometimes I have to think really hard and work out why things are the way they are. I think it is easier not to ask difficult questions and simply close my eyes and fall asleep. Today I watched the diving on TV and think that next time we go to the swimming baths mummy and daddy will show me how to dive. It looked such fun and sometimes people makes big splashes, I love big splashes. We picked lot of berries on Friday and mummy make lots of blackcurrant juice. It is going to rain and blow tonight so I must send daddy out into the garden to bring in my toys!

My cuz Felix

Mummy was away earlier in the week to visit my cousin Felix. She took some pictures and he looks so cute I just had to post one here. Here he is modeling my Sino. Not sure if I used this one when I was small but I think the colour very orange. I did some riding on mummy's back today. I enjoyed that lots and I also did some painting with daddy. He wasn't too impressed when I got green and grey muddled up. I played with Nellie this morning and daddy played with us. I wonder what I will do this evening and whether I will be able to talk to Felix on the phone or not.

Wednesday, 13 August 2008

Mummy's home

Mummy is home. She has been visiting my cousin Felix. I hope that he liked my mummy as I think she is the best mummy in the world. I hope he liked the present we bought for him. I liked it lots but wasn't allow to cuddle in. I normally cuddle Bruno when I fall asleep at night. There as lots of puddles at dagis at the moment and I had lots of fun jumping on them today. Luckily I was wearing my rain clothes and didn't get wet. Daddy was quite good at looking after me. Alas he is not as easily manipulated as he used to be, but I still managed to control him most of the time.

More trees came down!

The other day two men came to take down two of the neighbour's trees. This I think was a good as they dropped a small one on their roof the other day and these trees would have squashed the house and perhaps our newly painted shed as well. The men made lots of noise so I wore my ear-muffs so that my ears didn't get hurt! I played in the sun and enjoyed myself. There is now lots more light in our garden and we can see a long way. This weekend mormor and morfar went to look at my new cousin, Felix. Mummy goes to see him this week. I wonder if he can say more than waaahwaahwaah yet?

Thursday, 7 August 2008

My artwork!

I started taking my own photos, just like mummy and daddy! It is very exciting and a bit special. Since the commenting on my blog has been a bit boring lately (but we know you are reading the blog!) I am now organising a little competition with my photos. Let me hear your guesses on what I have been taking photos of! Someone might win a nice and special price :-)

Resting after mormor

On Monday I played all day with mormor and had lots of fun. Today I had to take it easy as I was still tired after yesterday. This evening we went for an evening walk around the block and stopped at the playground. I like playgrounds. Nelly came to visit me today and we saw a hedgehog. I think it was the mummy hedgehog of the two baby hedgehogs I saw last week with mormor. I also went to daddy's office today and helped him with his desk work. I also dropped some pins on the floor and watched daddy crawl around the office picking them up. That was lots of fun.

Sunday, 3 August 2008

Fun on the floor

I have had lots of fun this weekend even if it has been rainy and cold. I let mummy and daddy sleep until 08:30 this morning and then I played with my trains. Daddy put the door back on the shed but didn't get much more painting done as it looked like rain and we were going to a toy shop. I like toy shops. We also went to the recycling point and got rid of lots of things. I think the lawn needs cutting and I told daddy that he must cut it tomorrow. Mormor is coming so he will have lots of extra time. We had couscous and meatballs for dinner. I hope we get it again as it was yummy. I made very little mess, really.

Experimenting with my voice

I am trying to understand what daddy does in the office. I think it is odd to pretend to be an elephant but it does mean that I can make lots of new noises. I like making noise. I also like doing exercise. This morning I have been reading mummy's yoga books and have just done the cobra. It was easy. Daddy tried and thought it hurt. I wonder what we will be doing today besides watching daddy paint! Yesterday mummy cleaned the food cupboard in the basement and found lots of things that had passed their best by date! Lots of weird things that daddy took to the warm compost bin. I wonder what else mummy and daddy have hidden around the house. May be I have a good hunt around today!

Friday, 1 August 2008

mummy and me

Mummy and I have lots of fun and lots of hugs together. This week the weather has been super good and I have been to the beach and to the adventure playground and I have played lots in the garden at home. There was a big thunder storm last night, but I missed it as I was cuddled up in my bed. Today we went shopping for food and I got to eat a banana in the shop. We have picked and eaten loads of strawberries this week. I hope we have more next week. They are so good with cream. I have used my swings lots this week and I have used my double swing with Nelly. I like it lots. Thank you morfar for fixing it. Daddy is still painting the shed....

Tuesday, 29 July 2008

I have been thinking

I have been thinking about my new cousin. I hope that morbror Chrille's bubble water machine is working well as the baby will be drinking bubble water. I also hope that morfar has fixed morbror Chrille's car after moster Sara "bangade den". I also wonder when I am going to see him so that I can play footie with him. Today was a fun day as I got to play with my new neighbour Nellie, we also went to the recycling centre and got rid of lots of rubbish. I don't understand why mummy and daddy collect so much rubbish just to drive it away. I helped daddy with the painting again. Soon we will have the best shed in the area. It is looking super good.

Saturday, 26 July 2008

I'm now a big cousin

Moster Sara called mummy when we were in town and I am now a big cousin! Moster Sara and Morbror Chrille's baby decided to come out. It is a boy. I was so excited that when I got home I had to start baking a Christening cake. I put my earmuffs on so that I couldn't hear anything and could totally concentrate on my baking. I wonder what he will be called. Hopefully not Noel as that would be very confusing. I wonder when mummy and daddy's baby will decide to come out. Then I will be both a big brother and big cousin. Not that I have a clue what I have to do as a big cousin. I guess I can call Lara and George and ask them!

I like painting!

Yesterday I painted lots with daddy. It was lots of fun. Today I didn't get to paint with daddy, but I had lots of fun at the beach with daddy and mummy. Mostly with mummy as daddy had to go and buy some more paint. Tomorrow mormor and morfar are visiting and I will take them to the beach and have lots of fun with them. Now we are going to town to eat.

So much has happened!

It has been a busy few days. I have helped daddy clean the shed and begin to paint it! I have watched the neighbour chop down a tree so that it fell onto his house, I have been to the lake and played in the sand and swam in water, I have picked lots of strawberries and mummy has made a superb tasty strawberry pie. I have had a BBQ in the garden; I hope mormor and morfar like BBQs as I have lots of sausages for them to BBQ and eat with me. I hope the weather is good on Sunday when they visit so that they can BBQ with me and help with the painting! Daddy is good but I am sure that morfar is better.
