Moster is here! I am so H A P P Y

Moster Sara is visiting. I have just picked her up from the airport. She was sitting on her own in the carpark as daddy just didn't get his act together today. He left his keys at home and we had to run to town before mummy's yoga class to get the house keys, then run home, find me some food and find the car keys and drive to the airport. Luckily moster was happy to see me and didn't mind sitting outside in the cold waiting for us. I am now going to play with moster and send daddy to town to pick up mummy from her yoga class. I wonder what I can trick moster into doing ...

Me - a Morfar miniature?!

I love hammering and mending cars. Last weekend I helped morfar change the types on Mum and Dad's car and this weekend I decided it was time to change the oil in my car. Mum was on hand to film me so you can see how good I am at this. Perhaps I will drive those fast cars I see on TV when I get older! I don't really understand why they go round and round the same circuit all the time. I would drive to different places if I were the driver of those fast cars. I would drive to England and then to Greece really quickly.

Deciding what to buy at the shops

Soon we are off to the shops and today I got to help mummy read the special offers and decide which ones we are going to buy. I liked doing this as I got to use a pen and draw around the pictures I liked. I daddy up as usual today and we fed the birds and lit the fire and watched the children's programmes on tv. Then for breakfast daddy make eggs and bacon! I didn't like the idea so I only ate bread. Now I have to go and find my hat and coat. Hugs to you all.

A flower for Lara

The other day when working in the garden I picked a lovely yellow flower for my cousin Lara for her birthday. Alas my brain is getting like my daddy's and I forgot to blog it on her birthday. I hope you had a really good day and got lots of nice presents. Mummy said I should tell you that SkellefteƄ's ice-hockey team is doing really well this year and that you should use your birthday towel with pride!

Playing safe!

I am at home ill with a high temperature. I was home yesterday and will probably be home tomorrow as well! Daddy is trying to write something boring on his computer and I am driving around on my car with my helmet on so that I cannot hurt myself. As you can see I look really ill, but mum and dad assure me that I am. What do I do but do what they tell me to? So far today we have fed the birds, done some washing, lit the fire and eaten some food. Daddy keeps looking puzzled. I think he doesn't know what he is trying to do with is computer! One day he will learn! Now it is time to get the washing out of the machine!

Banging in the kitchen

The other day I helped put thew new bird house together. It is now in the garden and the birds love it! The come everyday and eat lots of seed. I was a bit too excited the first day we put it up and woke up and 4am saying pippi (birdie). Dad was not impressed and convinced me to go back to sleep. I guess it was dark and I couldn't have seen the birds in any case! Daddy forgot my wellies this morning and had to wave bye bye to me twice today! Daddy is really good at forgetting things.

Sharks in the garden

As the weather has got a little bit colder I have started to wear my Sale Sharks hat again! I am the only boy at dagis to have one so I cannot get it confused with anyone else's hat. I wore it went helping mummy in the garden with the leaves last weekend. On Tuesday we had our photos taken at dagis. I wonder how good I will look; sometimes I look so I good I cannot believe it! Today a man from Tiivi came to visit and was here for a long time. Perhaps soon the windows will be perfect and finished.

Playing in the leaves

I forgot to say that I had lots of fun in the garden yesterday. There are heaps of leaves everywhere! I got to use my rake and jump in the piles of leaves. I even got to help carry the leaves to the compost bins and watch daddy using the chain saw on the logs that have been drying in the garden from before the time Grandpa and Grandma were here for Christmas the year before I was born! It made lots of noise. Daddy is rather silly as the logs are still too big for our wood burner. He will have to attack them with an axe to make them fit!

Look at me!

I can carry things just like mummy carried me lots when I was little. Mulle was super happy that I could carry him around and save him walking all over the house. Yesterday we had a lovely time and went shopping and bought me some winter gloves and a new hat that will keep my ears warm as well as my head. I also tried out an inner-bandy (floor ball) club. I think I will give it a serious go later. It was fun to hit to hit the ball around the shop and watch daddy running after it. Tomorrow I go to Dagis again!

Soon I will be president

I have be watching the tv politicians and I am learning fast. I can wave like George Bush. Perhaps I can be president soon. They have lots of fast cars, big planes and other exciting things. I bet he even has a bigger sandbox than I have! Even bigger than the one of dagis I am sure. Today I slept late and didn't really wake up until I got to dagis. The kitchen at dagis is working again. Their windows are already installed. Our Tiivi windows are still not ready. I could have done it faster myself. Why doesn't daddy ask me to do things?

having fun and looking extra smart!

I had lots of fun the other evening pretending to be daddy! I borrowed his glasses and tried to behave like daddy. This was very easy as daddy behaves much like me. Alas I don't fall asleep as easily as daddy who simply lies down and falls asleep! I like to play in bed and read my books. My Thomas the train engine books are my favourites at the moment; I take one to dagis everyday.

Baking!

The other evening I helped mummy cook! She was making buns for Cinnamon Bun Day! I thought I could help her getting everything done quickly so that mummy could put me to bed. I didn't really understand where the cinnamon came from as the mix was very white. When the buns came out of the oven it was impossible to see which were my buns and which were mummy's buns. I bet mine were the extra tasty ones. This weekend I haven't had time to cook. Yesterday we went to a furniture shop and I got to try out lots of rugs. Alas I couldn't find the perfect rug so I couldn't let mummy and daddy buy one. They bought lots of other things; quite what I cannot remember. Tomorrow is dagis again! I am looking forward to it as I will be able to relax and not have to worry about keeping mum and dad active and occupied.

Helping with the roof

The other evening I thought I should help with the final few things with the new roof. I had to climb up on the ladder. Mum and Dad were really surprised that I knew how to do this and they stopped me from helping after I had climbed onto the first rung of the ladder. So I couldn't help! This was annoying as I like helping around the house. Today I had to look after daddy as usual as he lay on the sofa watching children's TV programmes. I am sure he missed the plot in all the programmes we watched this morning. He really needs to take his TV watching more seriously.

Eating noodles

I love eating food in different ways. Last week I found this lovely squeezy thing to eat with. I found it so much easier than a knife and fork! Why use such complicated things when this simple tool works so well? Tomorrow is Friday and the last day at dagis this week for me. I wonder what I will get to do this weekend. Play in the garden I hope.

I like cooking

I like cooking. This weekend I found some apples that needed to be used so I talked mummy into making a complicated apple crumble. I enjoyed chopping the apples and mixing the crumble and putting it all together in the pie form. Alas, I wasn't allowed to put the pie in the over, but I could look in through the oven window to see the pie change colour. I got to eat it with whipped cream. Oddly there seemed to be very little pie left the next day when I woke up and I only had a little piece. I think we must have some big mice in the house somewhere who like sweet things who come out when I go to bed.
