Looking super cute

For some reason every night I have to go to bed before mummy and daddy. I think this is most unfair! I want to know what happens when I am asleep in my bedroom. Sometimes I scream so much when I hear mummy and daddy going to bed I am allowed to sleep between them. At the moment it is very light when I go to bed and I lie in my bed a look at hedgehogs and ladybirds. I also try to be extra super cute to distract mummy and daddy when I am being put to bed. I need to practice this more as I trick doesn't work.

Helping in the garden

Now that summer is on its way and there is less rain I have been helping mummy and daddy water the flower beds. This is something I enjoy lots even if I am not too sure which green things are plants and which green things are weeds. Adults don't seem too good at doing this either so I am not worried about my abilities. Today I helped mummy plants lots of seeds in the vegetable garden and tomorrow I will help plant potatoes (even if I don't like eating them in any form other than as chips!).

I love the new sofa

I love the new sofa. I can still on it, lie on it, read on it and watch tv on it. What more can a boy want? I often get daddy up early to do things, but all he does is fall pretend the sofa is a bed and watches children's tv. On Sunday I tried extra hard to motivate him at 5:30, and all he did was watch a cooking programme on tv. I was bored until Postman Pat started at 6am.








Last Thursday mormor came to look after me and that was extra good fun. She played so much with me that I was tired and had no time to write my blog. This week I hope to have more time and will perhaps let daddy sleep at bit longer....who knows?

Helping morfar

I helped morfar at the weekend put together the new sofa mummy and daddy had bought! Daddy is not good at these things so I thought I must learn how to do them. First I discussed things with morfar, then we worked together and finally I did it all by myself!!


Mormor also came to visit on Saturday and she was very brave and took me for a walk in the rain! There was lots of it and I think she got very wet, but I am not sure as I fell asleep and when I woke up she was looking dry again.








Daddy took my cot to pieces at the weekend and mummy put her favourite chair in my room and moved my bed by 90 degrees! My room is now super cosy. So cosy I took ages to fall asleep last night. Daddy keeps saying it was because I have a cold...but as usual I have him fooled.

As pleased as mummy

when I find my popcorn. This afternoon I spent sometime hunting in the popcorn box and finally I found one mummy had missed! Daddy was as confused as ever as to what I was doing. I think he was more confused than ever today. Most likely because he was in Stockholm yesterday learning important things and meeting people at the airport! I had more fun at playgroup with Hilding. Today I finally got daddy to take me to the swings. I enjoyed it so much I hope he takes me again very soon. Soon it is mothering Sunday. What I am going to buy mummy? Anyone have any good suggestions? The other problem I have is, I have no idea how to access my bank account. Perhaps I have to ask daddy to help me.

gollygogogg

I have been saying lots of new words this weekend so that Mummy and Daddy can get excited and think I am learning to talk! Little do they know! My favourite word is gollygogogg. Daddy thinks this sounds like a word he learnt as a child, mummy thinks it sounds really advanced. Both are fooled as it is means nothing! Sometime I get to play in the basement room with lots of books and mirrors in it. I like this room as has lots of things I am not allowed to touch in it. Of course I have to try. To distract me I almost always get a banana to keep my hands and mouth occupied.

Fun with kangaroos

I am still trying to learn my Australian animals. Here I am pointing at the correct animal as mummy tests me by asking me again and again which is the kangaroo (as if I don't know!). I have still not found one in the garden and I have looked very hard the past two weeks. I have found lots of smaller animals but nothing that looks anything like any of these colourful animals. Most odd. I must ask someone clever about this soon, but first I have to get hang of this talking thing.

Morfar missed me and my pink elephants

Today I decided to wear my pink elephant top and brown corduroy trousers. I played lots before mummy went to work and she found me so cute that she had to take this photo of me waving. The students thought I was cute today too. I took a walk in my ergo on daddy's back this morning and had some coffee with the funny people daddy works with. This afternoon we went to the big shop where I get a banana to eat while daddy picks up lots of odd things. Then we went to to see Uncle Freddie and missed seeing Morfar when he came to pick up some plants for Mormor. He missed seeing my pink elephants. So here is a picture of them for him to see.

Soon I form a band

This weekend I got the hang of my mouth organ. Soon I will be as good as mummy's cousin Klas and I am so much smaller. Just imagine how good I will be when I am his age. Soon I will form a band and be on TV. Today has been a weird day. I woke up early and felt awake. I jumped out of bed and ran around. After mummy had gone to work I suddenly felt very tired and told daddy to take me out for a walk in my pram. I feel asleep and had a good nap. I woke up for lunch. I think stayed awake until just after dinner. I kept daddy busy all afternoon. I wonder how tomorrow will be.

I like bananas

I like bananas and I like getting one every time we go shopping. The big shops give me a banana to eat while mummy and daddy buy things. This weekend we went shopping on Saturday morning before we drank coffee. Very unusual. In the afternoon we worked in the garden all afternoon. Soon Aunty Jan and Uncle Luke are coming for dinner, but before that I have to help daddy clean the BBQ, whatever that might be! I have forgotten since I last saw it last year.

Uncle Erik does funny things in the library

Today we went to the University Library and Uncle Erik did funny things with a book. He banged a nail through it and nailed it on a notice board. People took pictures so I am sure it was a very important event. I had more fun banging a tree trunk that was in the library. Everyone thought I was super cute (again)!

Climbing and falling

I like climbing and on May Day daddy made a lovely pile of bags full of the new soil mummy had bought. I thought this looks like fun and climbed up on the pile and then I thought I can climb even higher if I can get onto this wall. I did! I was super clever. Well, until I fell down the other side and hurt myself! I screamed lots and daddy came and rescued me. I have some scars but I am sure they will soon go away.

Big fires are fun!

I like big fires. On Monday evening mummy and daddy took me to our local park to see a big fire to celebrate the arrival of spring. I wanted to get close to the fire but mummy and daddy wanted to keep me away from it. The bigger boys got much closer. I cannot wait to until next year when I am bigger.
