Now that summer is on its way

Today we had our first afternoon tea of the year on the deck. The sun shone and I enjoyed some homemade blackcurrant juice that mummy last year from the blackcurrants that grow in our garden. Daddy took lots of leaves away in the car and we also took some twigs to a big big pile of them in the local park. On Monday evening they are going to burn. I am looking forward to seeing that. I hope I manage to stay awake.

Smiling for the camera

This week I have been training daddy to get up early and play with me outside. My biggest weapon is my smile and continuous pointing at the door. I also fall asleep quicker if I have been outside all day and that daddy likes lots. Morfar showed daddy how he should play with me in the garden when he came to visit. He also taught me how to climb down steps without falling over. Tomorrow it is Saturday and Postman Pat is on around 6am...so I have to wake up and kick daddy out of the bed to turn to the TV on for me. I really have him under my thumb.

Sleeping on the deck

Here is a picture of me sleeping on the deck after a hard morning playing the garden, pumping up the car tyres, shopping at ICA MAXI, eating and falling asleep at a boring thing daddy wanted to listen to. It must have been really boring as I was still asleep when daddy got me home. May be I will sleep so much I can stay up late tonight. That would be good as Morfar is visiting.

Collecting twigs for my art projects

I have found that the best way to get twigs for my art projects is to climb trees. I am not to good at this but with daddy's help I can climb really high and find the best twigs. Just image how good I will be at climbing when I am a bit older. Today the weather has been really sunny and I have had lots of fun in the garden. I even watered myself with my lovely watering can.

Arty I am

I have finding my inner self recently and have been exploring my feelings through art. Here is my first major work: Twigs in toy. Mummy and daddy were really impressed. Perhaps I will be an artist when I grow up.

Yesterday Mormor and Morfar came to visit again and I got to help them rake the leaves from the lawn. There were lots of them. I can't wait until the lawn is fully green and I can play outside without lots of clothes again.

I love going out on mummy's bike

Mummy and Daddy have bought a bike seat that I can use to get taken places. It is so much easier than having to cycle myself. I love it lots. So far I have only been cycling with mummy. Daddy has to replace his brakes before he will take me out. I am looking forward to trying mountain biking. After my first cycle ride I sleep really well, from 8pm to 6:15am.

My first hair cut

I forgot to say that when I was away over Easter I had my hair cut for the first time. Mum, Dad, Mormor and Morfar all took part as it was very difficult to cut my hair! I don't really understand why but I don't have as much as mummy, but I do have lots more that daddy. My hair is now safe inside the little egg shaped thing I got as a Baptism present. Today Mummy shaved off all of daddy's hair. We then took it to the big green warm compost bin in the garden. Now that the snow has almost all gone I can play in the garden, dig and pour water every where!

Easter Eggs

There were some candles at Easter but there were lots of eggs! I got a yellow one with a wooden blue car and a wooden red bus in it. Mummy got an egg with lots of small things in it. She must like wood as she ate everything that was in her egg! Wierd! I don't like wood! Morfar showed me how to peel eggs. It was difficult but really good fun!

Working with Uncle Erik's Thesis

Here I am helping daddy work with Uncle Erik's thesis! I am not sure how helpful my comments are, but I am sure that Erik had help of them!! He cannot read daddy's handwriting in any case!

Looking for seagulls

Here I am looking for seagulls in the air above daddy's head! I had lots of fun, but found no seagulls. I wore my new Wellington boots just in case the roof decided to leak! It didn't! I like my new boots loads and wear them lots in doors. This morning I made daddy put them on before I would eat breakfast. I have daddy under my thumb.

Seagulls

I like seagulls or is it The Seagulls. I now have an ice-hockey team (Skellefteå), a union team (Sale) and now a football team (Brighton and Hove). I am not too sure what these teams do, but I am sure they are all very good. I wonder which cricket team I will support?

We are going to morfar and mormor's for Easter

Today I am driving to Skellefteå to stay with Mormor and Morfar for Easter. Moster Sara will also be there so I can help her with her hair again tomorrow morning. I waved bye-bye to her yesterday when she drove away on a big bus. I wonder what we will do this weekend. Hopefully not too much. I enjoyed relaxing in the bar last weekend with Mormor. I wonder if they have bars where they live. I hope that Mormor and Morfar have bought lots of candles for me to light.

Moster is visiting

Moster Sara is visiting. She arrived yesterday by plane. Daddy and I picked her up at the airport and then drove to town to pick up mummy! Bath time was extra exciting last night as I could show moster how to splash in the bath. We did lots of splashing! This morning I helped moster with her hair. May be I will be a hair dresser when I grow up. There were lots of bottles to play with that produced lots of lovely mess. FUN!

At Rött

Mormor came to visit this weekend. She and I played loads. Mum and dad went to town shopping on Saturday afternoon and I stayed at home with Mormor. In the evening we went to the local pub (Rött) and ate dinner. I tried really hard order a drink for mormor to thank her for coming to play with me, but I couldn't see over the bar. Mormor slept over at our place and this morning got up to play with me while mum and dad stayed in bed! Dad missed his favourite programme: Postman Pat! Now mormor has driven home but I will get to see her and morfar over Easter. I am looking forward to that loads!
